Project Goal
This project began with the challenge of building a 3D model of a structurally accurate,
modern day Wind Turbine within Cinema 4D. Once the turbine model was built, the web application was designed
with the purpose of it being a fun and educational platform with different dimensions of interactivity.

3D Modelling
3D models for the Turbine were built and painted within Cinema 4D and exported for use in the application.

Narrative
Research
Extensive online research on the modern Wind Turbine was carried out in order to construct a storyline for the application. The research was then reduced to the most compelling details and arranged into a cohesive, organized fashion that would highlight the most interesting technical and historical features of the Wind Turbine..
Establish
The user is sent on a quest of discovery to learn how the power of the wind is harnessed by the modern day Wind Turbine.
Build
The user discovers interesting and educational details about the Wind-Turbine as they interact with the application.
Resolve
The experience closes with an inspirational statement by National Geographic: "By 2050, one third of the world's electricity needs will be fulfilled by wind power".
